Tuscany, a region rich in memories and monuments, has a remarkable number of historic houses. The owners of a large part of these properties have joined the Associazione Dimore Storiche Italiane (A.D.S.I.), Association of Italian Historic Houses, whose job is to favour the conservation, the safeguard and the enhancement of these estates. The Tuscan Branch has promoted the founding of a particular category called Historic Residences, by creating welcoming accommodation structures in buildings rich in history, traditions and architectural value.
